Is this a 'poetry-only' event?Â
Majority of the show is spoken word performances. We also engage in conversation and have a segment where we play a karaoke game.Â
How long can I perform?Â
You can perform 1-2 poems under 3 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to perform. Once everyone has performed, you can perform again if you'd like.Â
Do poets get in free?
Everyone must purchase a ticket to perform.Â
Do I have to perform?Â
No. You can come to listen, connect, and enjoy the experience.
How do I sign up for the open mic?
Sign-ups will be available at the entrance before the event begins.
Are food and drinks available for purchase?
There are light refreshments free of charge.Â
